Potato Bags, Oven Mitts, and Bowl Cozies are cut out, just need to sew!


I just need to mail this or drive it to my friends a few hours away!


Two Tote Bags, a butterfly blanket 3/4 quilted a blue blanket that needs the embroidery put on for grandson, a babyset that needs only to decide if I want to trapunto the minky kitty on the front?

uhhhhh... I think I will watch a movie...LOL

That is my bed that everything is laying on...I won't be napping there!!

Then I will post which things I decide to finish!

Light Cotton Jacket, Matching Design No Pattern

  This was a lovely gift of two yards of fabric from my friend who went to Bali. I am proud of how I figured it out and also I had the perfect button hooks to match the fabric, wasting away in my button sewing box. It was a 2 yard piece of fabric with dark blue background and gold metallic design. When it was finished I took the scraps and made a mask and earrings.  Used every inch of this fabric. I needed something lightweight and cotton, so I picked up the piece and examined the print.  It had some lovely design that was in columns I could use for borders, but I could see it would take work to cut it out. The selvage was a nice print of gold, that I didn't want to lose.  I laid out the whole piece of fabric and figured how I could cut the front pieces and the back piece on a fold and utilize the border strips. Shoes of comfort

  Attempting comfortable soft shoes to stand in 10 hrs Soft leather from the leather bin at  www.Gstreetfabrics.com  vinyl with cork side for bottom of inside shoes and espridrilles bottom from Etsy with Grocery or Pharmacy that sells Dr Scholls inserts for the inside. Bottoms Cork will face down, this a soft vinyl-caramel colored with cork back Foam insert cut to size Dr Scholls Arch Support soft insert cushioning Bought two soft skins- to make matching clutch and or bag of same.  Thinking style will be a full shoe cover with cross over straps that are sewn in with elastic back to slide shoe on. I ordered some shoe glue.  I have a palm thimble and was going to sew it, but I think I would like to glue the bottom on and maybe hand sew it with a blanket stitch for design element only.  This leather is so soft and it feels so good on my foot.  I am going to use some elastic in the back and velcro for the strap wrapping.  (I am still thinking!?) New Outfit for Spring

  One of my favorite Patterns   Butterick B5045 This is the Jacket I make so many of... usually some kind of flowy material, like chiffon or lace.  It makes me feel very feminine.   I also like the fact that it is loose and hides a multitude of curves... 😁 I am going to make the pants to the ankles, but nice and loose and flowy out of a royal blue... found in the 2.97  TREASURE HUNT ROOM.  The jacket is one I couldn't resist, a printed chiffon with blues throughout and came off of the Poly special table, which is only 7.66 a yard.  But of course, we have our spring sale right now. That will be Pants, tank, Jacket = 20.00 for full set if you sew it yourself. Of course,  matching scarves and earrings for my total set. The elastic waist big leg pants will be quick and easy and I think I will make the tank top shown here out of the same royal blue.   The jacket will be the print.   See if I can wear it tomorrow.
