Bear Hunting Hat and Old Car Hat and Camo Personal Hat

By the way, I have no idea what I am doing....I made a cover for the hats and then did whatever.   Combo Sewing and Gluing.

I started to sew on the inside of the caps to finish them but I worried that the edge would feel uncomfortable, so I got some permanent fabric glue to glue the inside edges with some topstitching.

These were all a learning experience

I put too thick a stabilizer in the bucket.
Maybe a grandchild will get it.  I would need to make it bigger and less stabilizer as I wanted to make it reversible.

I need to do the finishing touches so I can go back to finishing
the tummy time sloths minky throw.

Light Cotton Jacket, Matching Design No Pattern

  This was a lovely gift of two yards of fabric from my friend who went to Bali. I am proud of how I figured it out and also I had the perfect button hooks to match the fabric, wasting away in my button sewing box. It was a 2 yard piece of fabric with dark blue background and gold metallic design. When it was finished I took the scraps and made a mask and earrings.  Used every inch of this fabric. I needed something lightweight and cotton, so I picked up the piece and examined the print.  It had some lovely design that was in columns I could use for borders, but I could see it would take work to cut it out. The selvage was a nice print of gold, that I didn't want to lose.  I laid out the whole piece of fabric and figured how I could cut the front pieces and the back piece on a fold and utilize the border strips. Learning Your new Sewing Machine that has Embroidery Stitches

  I have a number of old sewing machines that have embroidery stitches.  They were new in 1996. I learned everything by doing. Get out your manual and a look at what needle they tell you to use for embroidery stitching.  Get the kind of thread they tell you to use.  Thread your machine the way the manual tells you. Be sure to put on the right foot on your machine, because you don't want to hit the sides of your presser foot.  It needs to be the one you use for zigzag sewing, so that there is room for your needle to go back and forth, the hole is a slot not just a round hole.  Not a zipper foot.   Your manual will tell you which to put on. Get a piece of batting, and two pieces of fabric. Practice using all of your stitches. This is how I made these holiday hot pads, or centerpieces, or wall hangings, or door designs for in the center of wreaths, whatever you want to call them. Loving the Cowl Collar even on a full drape woven

One of my favorite Palazzo pants with pockets and accessories below.  I love the cowl collar, but I can do this one on the non stretchy, silky printed chiffon.  I will probably make some suit jackets and this will look very classy. The details are 3 small buttons on each sleeve non cuff and at the back of the cowl collar.   I made the neckline big enough to put over my head and the sleeve cuff big enough to just slide my arm through.  I love the button detail, but I like quick on and off. Got to make it custom couture with accessorizing. Scarves, earrings, mask, scrunchie, and whatever else I think of to impress the GStreetFabric Customers. These fabrics came from GStreetFabrics.com-where I work. If you come to the store, I am usually behind the cash register, with matching mask to keep from those pesky germs... mom will be 101 so I am no spring chicken. Always trying to INSPIRE you.
